Every time i read the bulls match commentry on the website it appears that Manset gets caught offside at elast 5 times per game, sounds like he could use some training to get his movement timing down to perfection, he would then be able to rip open the defences because he would be away and on goal if he could time his runs better (and we would win games!!) Can anyone who has seen the recent games let me know if this is true, or just something exagerated by the text commentary?

I personally have never thought him to be prone to be caught offside, to be fair to him.
And to be honest, no one will ever come close to challenging Theo Robinson's offside stats.

Robinson was the off-side king! Have never really noticed the Beast suffering from the same problem.
To be fair to Theo his game was very much hanging on the shoulder of his defender and bursting forward onto through balls - its worth the chance of trying to anticipate the through ball if you get away with the odd one.
Manset is very much a target man and hence not so prone to the off-sides as most times he has his back to goal with a defender on his back.
One thing I think we do miss is genuine pace up-front. With a player like Theo you always have the potential to break quickly and this can make defences sit deeper and ultimately gives you more space. Pugh and Done are reasonably quick but as mentioned before neither seems to really go at defences when the break is on.

Fair enough, it might be that its put on the text commentary as it is a noticable event and so its slightly biased. Isnt Craig King damn nippy, i remember watching him in his first game i think, accrington stanley possibly, and he was quick and worked damn hard!
