If the rumours are right Tony James will be coming back to Edgar Street and we may even be spending actual money for him.
This would be a big surprise I reckon as surely his best days are behind him? And of all the positions we need to strengthen in Centre Half wouldn't be my top priority.
What's the odds of him having some kind of player-coach roll and maybe even someday soon being player-manager? Sooner rather than later maybe is things don't improve for Trewick...

I'd be happy to see him back. I think he's still got a bit left in the tank, and should instantly be given the captaincy.

Well the rumor that the declared "ex-Bull" could be anyone, people just think its Tony James.
Why would he come here when Burton are performing better than us in the same league?

Why would he come here when Burton are performing better than us in the same league? Exactly. United may have been a club on the up when he jumped ship left, but any idiot can see the Club's starting to fall to bits again, and I'd be very surprised-very happy, as well-but very surprised to see James return.
