JT has finally been relieved of his duties then. I heard the news on Radio 5 on the drive home and can't say it came as much of a surprise.
Rather than dwell on the bad run we've had of late and slag of Trewick who, whatever you think of results this season, was just an honest bloke doing his best let's look forward...
So what next? I can see Turner staying in charge of the team until the end of the season and getting someone new in for next season. There's definitely no rush - we're in no immediate danger of the drop.
A fresh start at the beginning of next season is what's needed. This season never really got going partly thanks to the hangover from last season. A new, up and coming young manager is what is called for. Maybe a player manager who could be guided by Turner. Maybe even a former player? Who knows! These could be the start of Exciting times at Edgar Street!

I am quite surprised that Turner chucked Trewick to be honest! I think turner never should have left the club after the relegation season, we may have been in a much stronger position that me are now. TURNER FTW! (thats For The Win, for all those oldies )

Rumours are rife that somebody is already lined up...but who?

GT saying that he isn't going to advertise the post may suggest that he's already got somebody lined up. I wouldn't bet against Stevie G being involved somewhere along the line. I bet Northampton would love to get him off their books. Mark Cooper is also a possibility - localish, although I bet he was on a fair whack at Posh.
I'm all in favour of TEEEEAALO! I wonder why he decided to make his application public?

A new, up and coming young manager is what is called for. Maybe a player manager who could be guided by Turner. Maybe even a former player? JAMIE PITMAN. The man is a LIVING LEGEND to all REAL HUFC supporters. He has a PROVEN track record with FGR - look how far they have FALLEN since he left them - they have PLUMMETED down the BSP table. His FIGHT, DRIVE and DTERMINATION are of PIVOTAL IMPORTANCE over the coming months. His style of play are entirely suited to L2 and he is the MAN to lead HUFC back up the leagues!!
