With the loan deadline tomorrow what does everyone think we should do with regard potential signings?
Personally I can't see too much point in signing anyone who will disappear at the end of the season never to be seen again. We need to be looking towards next season and the core of players we will start with going in to 2010/11.
With this in mind maybe GT will sniff out some players who are being released by their clubs in the Summer who we could perhaps have on loan as a bit of a sneak preview with a view to signing them in the Summer. This would give us a chance to suss out players in real competetive matches rather than the usual pre-season friendlies as well as introducing players to the club so, if we do sign them, they can hit the ground running next season.
The obvious area to strengthen is midfield and of course a decent striker certainly wouldn't go amiss either!
