Surely nothing can stop us from chalking up our 5th win on the trot? When was the last time we did that - must be at least a couple of seasons back I reckon. Anyway, I'll boldy predict a handsome 3-0 win and another improved attendance. The weather is fair so an attendance topping 2,300 is on the cards

The weather is fair so an attendance topping 2,300 is on the cards It's just a pity your optimism didn't rub off on United today!! Attendance was up, but it was a pity that the team failed to perform today, especially in the first half. It would have been a big step in the right direction, and may have helped to secure the return some of the floating supporters on a permanent basis. Many people were blaming Manset today "It's 75% his fault" , but the team as a whole looked lost, and playing hoofball certainly won't win games - JT discovered that to his cost. Never mind, there's always next game!

Grimsby just seemed to want it more today. Battling for every ball. And when we did get it we didn't have any creative spark. With Pugh and Done on in the second half you would have thought we would have got at them down the wings but never really did.
Indeed it did remind us of life under Trewick. It was like the bad old days of a couple of months back! Oh well, lets hope it was a one off and we'll be better on Tuesday at Bournemouth!
